Britney's comeback bid is said to be doing not too shabby!!

For the first time in 5 years Britney is topping the charts with her new album 'Circus' by it selling half a million copies in its first week alone.

This gives Spears the second biggest female bow of the year, topping debut weeks by Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Janet Jackson and Beyoncé and only trailing Taylor Swift, reports E! Online.

The controversial star's efforts have not gone unnoticed as her come back tour is selling out fast, her team have even had to add more dates in...including London and Los Angeles!!

Is this the best she has ever been? After any failed attempts is has Britney finally found where she belongs in the music world?

Who is the real Jessica Alba

VIP actress Jessica Alba has been subject to media fire as it was revealed that she had undergone MAJOR airbrushing in pictures for her new calender, a mere 5 months after giving birth!!

Pictures recently leaked on to the internet reveal Alba donning an "hour glass" figure, yet looking at the pictures printed in the actresses calender the "Sin City" star appears half the size as she did in the unauthorised pictures.

The calender pictures reveal Alba with a cinched in waist, higher breasts, a thinner chin and more make up. Whilst the original photo's show Jessica in a much softer and natural tone - signature of Mario Testino's work.

Which is better? Is it giving the wrong message to be looking so thin just 5 months after giving birth?

Madonna and Guy update!!!

Madonna is a closed vault!!

It is rumoured that the 50 year old pop sensation is only giving recent ex Guy Richie a fraction of her $600 million fortune, the slither of the slice that he was appointed was a mean $64 million - an unbelievable amount of money for any normal person yet for these A Lister's it is a mere drop in a very large ocean!!

According to the News of the World:

…a source revealed: “He is getting one lump sum imminently. Guy wanted to stay in their London home but Madonna refused to split it in two, and eventually gave him £12 million as compensation. She decided early on that he should get Ashcombe.

“Guy’s ducked out of fighting over her fortune, even though he could be entitled to a big chunk.” A friend of Madonna said last night: “She is fed- up at reports that Guy is walking away with no money—she has sorted his finances for life.”

Despite years of marriage, raising children together and supporting one another's world renowned careers there isn't a fair split of the cash.

Rumours are rife that the programs most controversial couple have finally tied the knot despite causing rifts wthin friend circles as many believed that the pair were a miss-match!!

Celebrities take to the jungle

The nations favourite reality television show has managed to push us through the winter blues with the hilarity that took place deep in the Australian jungle. These 10 brave contestants had us laughing and crying as they threw away the lip loss and champagne to "ruff it" in hammocks under the stars!!

Robert Kilroy-Silk, Esther Rantzen, George Takei, Martina Navratilova, Brian Paddick, Dani Behr, Simon Webbe, Carly Zucker, Joe Swash, Natalie McLean, Timmy Mallet and David Van Day endured 3 weeks of "Bush Tucker Trials" and "Chest trials" in order to stay in the competition with the winner gaining thousands of pounds to donate to their favourite charity.

Surviving off of one meal a day the celebrities of course found the experiance a challange! Bust up's, hunger, mud, creepy crawlies took its toll on the 12 stars...yet it had us in stiches.

Reports are rife that sexy actionwoman Angelina Jolie is ready to retire!!

The mother of six told the BBC, "I don't plan to keep acting very long.
I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day."

What will the silver screen do without the worlds favourite heroine? How will we cope without our regular fixes of Jolie's eratic inter city driving and pistol wielding. It seems setteling down is definatly on the cards for Anjelina, despite the nations grievences!!

Kerry Katona is not a morning person

Kerry Katona featured on the nations favourite morning television programme "This Morning" last week, sitting on the famous couch with Phil and Fern; the C list celebrity struggled to answer questions.

Slurring her way through the interview and shouting across the set to her boyfriend standing behind the scenes, Phil finally asked what was wrong with her. He stated that people were phoning the control room of the television programme asking if she was OK.

The presenter then proceeded to ask if she was drunk, Miss Katona just about managed to say that she didn't noticed that she seemed a bit "odd" she insisted that it must be her prescribed medication that was affecting her as she had taken it late the night before, she stated that it mustn't have worn off.

Madonna is getting private tennis lessons!!!

It has been rumoured that Madonna has been on dates with tennis superstar Alex Rodriguez less than a week after the split with her director husband, Guy Richie.

It is reported that the pair met at a mutual friends mansion in the Hamptons, New York, after arriving in seperate helicopters. 50 year old Madonna denies affairs with the 33 year old sporting pin-up and stresses that they are purley friends that both have interest an in the Kabbala beleif. This all happend 6 days after the Madonna and Guy split...

It has been rumoured that the original playboy himself has asked the young teen queen Miley Cyrus to apper in an issue of Playboy. The disney star "Hannah Montana" has not issued any comments about the invitation, although explicit pictures have been leaked from the disney stars stolen phone.

The young actress does however deny that she will NOT be leaving the hit disney series Hannah Montana and insists “We've got too many episodes to finish!” Miss Cyrus has also launched a new solo pop career, this girl really is taking over the world!!

Rumours leaked of Michael Jackson reuniting with his brothers to re-kindle Jackson 5 have been shunned by the troubled star's agent today. Read out by a spokesman Jackson says:

“My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon.”

Trouble for the BBC

RUSSELL BRAND AND JOHNATHON ROSS CAUSE A MEDIA FRENZY!!

You may remember "Faulty Towers" a seriously funny 1970's television hit starring John Clease and the less well known actor of Andrew Sachs. Mr Sachs was supposed to be a guest on Russell Brands BBC Radio 2 show along with the television presenter Johnathon Ross.

What was meant to be a routine slot soon turned into a nightmare for the BBC as Sachs didnt answer his phone for the schedualed interview; angered Brand along with Ross proceded to make unsavoury comments about Andre Sach's grandaughter on the Faulty Towers stars answerphone. This was pre recorded so wasnt live at the time, yet the producers of the radio show allowed it to to be aired, beaming across the nation the rude and insulting comments about sach's grandaughter, desite the actor making a complaint when he heard the voicemail, prior to the show being aired.

This of course has caused a public and media outcry and has resulted in Russell Brand resigning, Johnathon Ross suspended without pay and producers of the show under investigation.

what do you think? A joke gone too far that has been blown out of proportion? A classic case of celebrities thinking they can do what they want? Purely the producers fault?

A close source reveals that Moores new wife threatened to file for a divorce due to her husband always being away with Paris. Meanwhile, Jason Moore shuns rumours of an affair between with the heiress and maintains that the split was a mixture between proffessional and personal conflicts, yet reinforces that it had nothing to do with his marrage.
